After years of answering questions and diving into detailed how-tos on its support forums, Apple‘s support team has finally expanded to video. Apple recently launched its own YouTube channel, and it’s filled with helpful how-to videos.
As of writing, the Apple Support YouTube channel features three categories of videos: Apple Support FAQs, iPad + iOS 11 How-To’s, and How to shoot on iPhone. The support section includes topics such as how to print from your iOS device, how to update the version of iOS it’s running, and how to take a screengrab. The second category includes colorful videos highlighting specific iOS 11 features, such as the iPad’s new dock. And the “How to shoot on iPhone” section includes tips on how to use Portrait Lighting, along with how to share and customize memories.
Each video is short—under two minutes long—and includes step-by-step instructions for the topic at hand.
While Apple created the YouTube channel on Oct. 5, it didn’t upload its first batch of support videos until Monday. When Cult of Mac first spotted the new channel, it had less than 1,500 subscribers. Now that tally totals more than 10,000.
It's official: we're now on YouTube.

The company will presumably continue to update its YouTube channel with new videos. At this point though, it’s unclear how often we’ll see those new videos arrive.
Between Apple’s existing written documentation and these new videos, it should be much easier for new, curious, or confused iOS device owners to get answers to their questions, straight from Apple.
