Netflix’s House of Cards set in Maryland is on lockdown due to an active shooter in the area.
Around 9am ET Wednesday morning officials say 37-year-old suspect Radee Labeeb Prince shot five people, three of which have died, in a business area nearby. The Baltimore Sun reports Prince used a handgun to shoot the five victims, who were all employees at Advanced Granite Solutions.
After the House of Cards set was locked down, Executive Producer Dana Brunetti wrote a Facebook post showing his disappointment in the lack of news coverage about the shooting.
“CNN asked me to come on air the other day to talk about ‘House of Cards’ and Russia, and today there is an ongoing active shooter near the House of Cards stage and ZERO coverage,” Brunetti wrote.

Shooting near House of Cards set. I turn on the news to see what is happening, and guess what they're covering? Not the 5 dead and 3 wounded while gunman is still on the loose.
Alert: Police Activity in area of Emmorton Business Park. Avoid the area.

Sherrif Jeffrey Gahler said it appeared to be a targeted attack.
“There’s an individual out there on the loose who’s committed one of the most heinous acts in out country, we certainly consider him armed and dangerous,” Gahler said.
Prince has had several prior arrests and encounters with law enforcement, according to the Sun.
The FBI tweeted about the search for Prince and asked the public to call 1-800-CALL-FBI (225-5324) with any information or tips regarding his whereabouts.

Despite the manhunt for the suspect and the lockdown that was placed by the city, Netflix told the Hollywood Reporter, “We have been in touch with local authorities and are aware of a shooting situation that happened about a mile away from the House of Cards set. Production on the show has not been impacted.”
